BikeSA is the peak body for recreational and commuter cycling in South Australia. We're here to get more people cycling, whether for fun, fitness, freedom or the daily commute. As a not-for-profit organisation, our focus is on making cycling accessible, inclusive, and supported across the state.
We believe cycling is one of the simplest solutions to a healthier, happier and more sustainable South Australia.

An inclusive community for safe cycling and active travel that enhances health and wellbeing, socioeconomic outcomes and a sustainable future.
We promote, enable and advocate for increased participation in cycling and active travel use.

BikeSA was founded in 1982 by a passionate group of volunteers who believed in cycling as a force for good. Since then, we've grown into South Australia's leading cycling organisation-welcoming riders of all backgrounds and skill levels.
Our early grassroots advocacy paved the way for better bike paths, safer infrastructure, and the vibrant cycling community we see today.
Today, we deliver events, programs and initiatives that reach over 70,000 people every year. From large-scale tours and community rides to bike education and youth engagement, our impact goes far beyond the pedals.
We've helped councils shape better bike strategies, introduced thousands of new riders to cycling, and inspired communities, both urban and regional, to choose the bike more often.

BikeSA proudly collaborates with organisations that share our commitment to health, sustainability, and stronger communities. Their support powers our programs, events, and advocacy efforts across South Australia.
