From sunrise trail starts to sunset campsite stories - La Grande Gita is a visual journey as much as a physical one.

I've done several Bike SA rides over the years. Several Coast to Coast, Amy's Ride etc. This was my first Gita, and my all time fav Bike SA ride.

Great variety in the route including challenging and scenic sections. Road safety from support/planning and driver behaviour was excellent.

Route offered landscapes diversity and everyone a met along the way was supportive and encouraging.

I liked that it catered to a wide range of abilities. I saw seasoned riders and total first timers all having a good day out. It felt welcoming and easy to fit into, no matter your pace.

The route surprised me in a good way. A mix of back roads, open stretches, and a few punchy climbs kept it interesting without being overwhelming.
