Introduction

With 600 million years of secrets waiting to be shared, the Flinders Ranges is one of Australia's top exploration destinations. Cycling through the Flinders Ranges and Outback, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were navigating the unexplored face of Mars. Towering ancient cliffs and deep craters border dusty red roads. This road, track, and trail tour starts and finishes in Port Augusta and showcases some of South Australia’s most rewarding experiences along the way. Route options are available for roadies, gravelleurs and mountain bikers. The main route is on sealed roads however, on most days there will be the opportunity for you to get off the bitumen and ride the rough stuff, if you’re that way inclined.

The deluxe camping option is fantastic especially for interstate cyclists flying to Adelaide not having to pack a tent and mattress as well.
